Whilst we may have been quiet on the news front of late, thatās not to say there hasnāt been activity happening at Parklands. The latter part of 2013 saw a surge in interest, which explains why there are only 7 plots now available for sale. We saw residents move from all over the country, including Rotherham, Newquay as well as just up the road.
Mr and Mrs Spence knew the type of residential park home that they were after before they even visited Parklands of Lincoln, in fact, they had come very close to deciding on the park that they wanted to live at. Fortunately, they decided to do some further research and came across Parklands of Lincoln. Upon visiting, it didnāt take them very long to know that Parklands was the place for them. Having already sold their house, the order was speedily made, and weāre delighted to say that Mr and Mrs Spence are now happy residents at the park.
Mr and Mrs Killick had already made the decision to move from their existing house and had begun house hunting, but they were struggling to find something that they really wanted. It was only by accident that Mr and Mrs Killick came across Parklands of Lincoln. They had previously dismissed moving to a park home with old ideas of what they were like, but as they were turning around on the main road they saw our sign – and after a failed day of house hunting, thought that it was at least worth a look. They couldnāt actually believe what they saw and it didnāt take them very long to decide that this was the home for them. Through our part exchange scheme weāre pleased to say Mr and Mrs Killick are now delighted with their new home.
Mr and Mrs Isaac had been keeping on top of the news going on at Parklands for a number of years. This year, they decided to visit the park during our annual Open Weekend. It became very clear to them from the start that they wanted to be here ā and the fell in love with the showhome as well. Following their visit, they quickly put down a reservation for their desired plot and began designing their home based on the showhome, but with their own personalised tastes and colours. Like Mr and Mrs Killick, they opted to go through the part exchange scheme, to ensure the move happened more speedily and without hassle. They moved in late last year and are in love with their home. Itās exactly what they wanted.
Mr and Mrs Walker reserved their plot last year ready for their retirement this year. They’re putting all their plans into place at the moment and so we’re very much looking forward to seeing them moving onto the park later in the year.
Amongst the park homes sold include our most recent showhome, the Prestige Reprise, so weāre now in the process of designing and ordering our new park homes. It’s an exciting time, as we’re drawing up plans for a bespoke home that is perfectly suited for the plot it will be placed on. Weāll have more details in our next newsletter.
Thereās no doubt that we have seen an increase in activity as a direct result of the upturn in the housing market. If you are looking to sell up and move this year, then we would recommend reserving your plot now to ensure that you get the place that you want. Please call so that we can arrange an appointment for you to come and have a look and decide whether a move to Parklands is right for you.
